2007 - 2008 Membership Point System
In
our efforts to increase the general membership & member participation of our organization, the NABA 2004 –2005 Executive
Committee has decided to implement a member point system for this year. This
new point system will allow the officers and sponsor(s) to keep up with membership attendance and participation in activities
throughout the year. In addition, it will be used at the end of the year to determine
your membership status, and therefore awards will be given to the members with the highest amount of points at the NABA Closing
Banquet.
Membership status will be based on
these three (3) categories: Gold, Silver, & Bronze. In order to reach Gold Membership status you must accumulate at least 75 pts; to reach Silver Membership
status, you must accumulate at least 50 points, and to reach Bronze Membership status, you must accumulate at least 25 points.
Please see the chart to
the right, which shows the ranking of points.
Points may be received by attending a NABA Meeting, participating in a NABA activity
or fundraiser, serving on a committee, or acting as the chair of a committee.
Please note that these points will
be given based on the amount of your participation in the actual event. Each
member will be given a complimentary 10 points at the beginning of each school year as a membership incentive. Other points may also be given at the discretion of the NABA Executive Committee and/or Advisor(s).
We look forward to a successful year
with your participation.
